Beechworth Accommodation

Self contained with open fire and views

Indigo Cottage Beechworth is named after the historic Indigo Goldfields and native Indigo flower. It is a weatherboard and granite-stone hideaway built in the 1890s for Beechworth gold miner Mr Beetson who owned the property from the 1870s. It has been beautifully restored to tastefully combine the authentic heritage features with modern luxury accommodation.

Inside the fully self contained house you will enjoy new furniture, 3 luxurious bedrooms, open fire for the winter nights and evaporative cooler for warm summer days. Enjoy the view of the Beechworth Gorge from the new bathroom or while you are cooking up a storm in the well appointed new kitchen.

Indigo Cottage accommodation is the true Australian country town experience, while just 10 minutes walk away is the main street of the historic gold town of Beechworth, where strong fresh coffee is in abundance along a promenade of galleries, restaurants, and boutique shops. Walk or ride your bikes along Beechworth streets and trails in the bush and return in the evening to luxury Beechworth accommodation at Indigo Cottage
